On June 16-19, 2021, the 10th International Symposium on Ultrafast Phenomena and Terahertz Waves (ISUPTW 2021) was held in Chengdu. The meeting was organized around two themes of terahertz science and technology and ultrafast phenomena. The topics cover research directions in the field of terahertz and ultrafast phenomena. It is a large-scale multi-disciplinary, comprehensive, high-level international academic activity. Doctoral and Graduate students Zhiqiang Yu, Jinpei Liu, Xi Zeng, Zhengxin Wang, Jiewei Guo, Tingyuan Wang and Chunyue Chu presented their recent work by posting reports and communicated with experts from various universities. In addition, the NSAF Joint Fund, jointly established by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics, issued relevant guidelines and discussed during the meeting.
